I have a very unpopular question to ask. Does anybody know if there are any music stores open today? I tried the websites for Northland, Thomas Walls, and Cases and couldn't find hours. I also tried calling but no answer. Might be too early on a Sunday for anybody to be in if they would happen to be open I guess.. Anybody here have an idea?

yeah I was thinking the same thing. I got my hands on a vintage 1955(I think) Harmony h62 and am dying to put some strings on it and try it out.

Northland is on Queen, and I don't think anything is open on sundays on queen.

No music stores open on Sunday - if you are really desperate, Walmart sells strings - probably not the best quality but you can give it a shot.

If that guitar is in good shape, it's worth a few bucks.

I'll move this into musician central forum soon - probably find more help there.

why go through the hassle of a passport if you wont need it for anything wlse when an enhanced drivers license will work

Any luck yet?

I finally bought some lower quality strings from Zellers.. Guitar sounds great. Been in the family for over 60 years now, and I finally got to play it!! Thanks for the help guys

Oops - just realized I can't move this thread - I'm not a moderator in this forum.
