Ok Ive never had Salmon before but we bought some fillets of it and we'd like to put them on the BBQ.

What do we do to them before they go on the BBQ?
What kinds of spices can we put on them?
Can we marinade them? If so with what and for how long?

Also how long do we cook them on the BBQ for?

1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup lemon juice
4 green onions, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
1 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

That is a great salmon marinade. Mix it together in a large ziploc bag but take out about 1/4 c. of it to baste with. Put the salmon in the bag and stick it in the fridge for about 1/2 hr. to an hour.

Make sure your grill is clean, clean or it will stick. Anyway, cook it on medium heat for about 10 mins per 1" thickness (at the thickest part of the salmon).
