Winnipeg, MB. - A mental patient died after workers at a Manitoba hospital left him in a chair for 22 hours without feeding him or helping him use the bathroom, said officials who have threatened to cut off the facility’s funding.

An investigator’s report released Monday found that 50-year-old Steven Sabock died in April after he choked on medication and was left sitting in a chair for close to a day at the facility in Winnipeg, MB. Surveillance video showed hospital staff watching television and playing cards just a few feet away.

"Health officials say a man who died in the waiting area of a major Winnipeg hospital’s emergency department may have been dead “for some time” before medical staff was alerted — 34 hours after he arrived. The 45-year-old arrived by taxi at the Health Sciences Centre around 3 p.m. Friday from the Health Action Centre, a community health centre in central Winnipeg, where he had an earlier appointment, officials said. He was found dead after midnight Sunday."

You mean your dead horse LOL. Oh i can bash Canada, and quite capable of it. Not my fault you can't see past your computer screen :) I bash welfare all the time. That is government program.

I hate that DQ can't get his diabetes medicine. I hate a lot of things about Canada. I still love it though.

By the way Slow, you or anyone in your family had to see a specialist, that only existed in Canada, you'd come up here too :) That lady, still gets treated in Toronto, only went to California for the type of treatment she wanted.

Why do you pluralize politician? There was only one that went. And it was to see a specialist, that isn't in Canada. Probably a Canadian doctor anyway :)

Because it is improper grammar to say "Our politician knows..."

That would infer you only have one politician in Canada. You may only have one that's worth anything, but still...
