Serious question. Is there mention of cavemen in the bible? Or how do they fit. I think someone touched on the subject of dinosaurs, but what about them as well? Could they have been before humans? God wiped them out, and started again with humans?

It's funny you say that, because I just finished reading a book that believes just that.

Here it is: http://www.amazon.com/Darwin-Delusion-Discover-destroy-enslaved/dp/1439235104

The book was okay. Great in some parts, not so much in others. But it did have the same theory you put forth.

I beleive that cavemen came fron the land of Nod (where Adam and Eve were banished to). There sons had to procreate with someone. It states that Adam and Eve were the first people with Souls, not the first people. I think that cavemen existed along with Adam and Eve and through that evolution of humans was able to take place.

I just did a quick search; there is no mention of cavemen in the Bible. So we are into speculation.

"G-Theory" speculates than Cain's descendants may have been cavemen, that Cain was the original.

Because God cursed Cain for killing his brother, and said he would be marked so others would know and fear him, G-Theory says that "mark" may have been the protruding forehead and thick brow (think of James Carville without the suit). Such a look would intimidate possible enemies.

I'm not saying I believe this, just throwing out a theory that wrestles with the issue of the absence of cavemen in the Bible.
