If this is their culture, what's the problem? It's sad because we've made dogs into pets.
My grandma had a pet pig when she was younger, and she said it tasted great.
I was mad at her when she told me that story. I thought it was disgusting.

That is the problem, we relate to dogs and cats more than cows and pigs. If it is socially acceptable to eat 1 animal, it should be the same for all animals without concern. Even it was socially acceptable to eat a dog, i would not be able to bring it upon myself to do so.

I think I would have a hard time eating a cow that I had raised, too, though.
