I have taught my cat Marvin to ring a bell if he wants treats, but the thing is there has been alot of throwing up, and it looks like his food and treats mixxed in together. I have another cat named Norman, thing is I don't know which doing it. I'm going to cut out the treat things out for awhile. Becuzz if i think about it he has been ringing the bell quite abit lately, this last throw up was puke, not a hairball hard. Maybe i should bring Marvin in for a checkup, then if it still continues it's got to be Norman. Anyone know how much a check up for a cat is?,,,,thx

Sounds like the kitties are pigging out on treats. I have one or two who do the same thing, then I find the mixture in a big heap. It's my male kitties who have this piggy behaviour.
Dr. Gunum and the female vet (don't know her name) at Animal Health Clinic on Trunk Road is very down to earth and doesn't charge and arm and leg for a checkup. Call 759-4555 and ask the receptionist what the cost would be. They are very reasonable and I take all my pets there. I have tried most of the other vets and many tend to go overboard.
I tried a new kibble once and the cats loved it so much they gorged themselves and threw up. Some of the treats caused them to throw up too. I stopped the treats. The only time they throw up now is if they have hairballs.
Hope everything is okay with your kitties.
