So a funny thing happened in north bay

I am thinking someone should be fired, either the cop should be for letting the summer student drive the OPP vehicle, or the summer student for putting the vehicle in the drink,

our tax dollars at work, and yes the summer student was female.

oh my gosh, I thought it was a boat that had sunk at first glance, not actually a van that had gone in.
Wow, yeah, that's kinda bad!

Wouldn't wanna be her at that moment! LOL..

Got that in an email a few weeks back. What I didn't understand tho...was if she's summer student (obviously the wet one on the dock), don't they have some kind of a special uniform for them?

Now we should ask just which "male" was directing her on the backing up part? He couldn't tell her to stop???

Most times I've seen or helped launch a boat someone is giving the driver hand signals as to how far back they can go and which way, no?

You mean they still allow women cops or students, my goodness gawd help us now.

I've seen mechanics and other "non" officers drive police vehicles. I'm sure it's not illegal to drive them, only illegal to operate the lights and sirens. Here in Sudbury, any time anyone other than a police officer drives a cruiser they have to put a cover over the light bar that says "not in service".

Well at least someone is getting a service by using a police car as all i see around here in this town is cops at timmies 88% of the time.

BMA accrding to that OPP picture the light bar isn't covered. So it was illegal for that summer student to drive it!

lol took the film crew to wendys and 3 or 4 cop cars went thru the drivethrough in the space of half hour, most cops i seen in town in a month.
