My advice.....don't go there. It's like a little chip stand but sell hamburgers and Italian food.
Husband and I went there on our way out to camp on Friday and we stopped there because it's on the way out of town by the Trading Post and thought what the hay, give a new business a try.
We both ordered a hamburger and fries. Paid for it and then they tell us they don't have hamburger buns and asked if they could put it on two pieces of bread. I kid you not! I said no and then they asked if they could put it on a submarine sandwich bun. Wasn't happy about this but we didn't want to turn around and head back toward town. So they put this, what they called a hamburger on this bun by cutting it in half so it would fit on the bread. It was disgusting tasting as well.
Now the fries.....out of this world. NOT even edible. Didn't even give them to the dog. They were hard, dried out and could barely bite threw them.
Needless to say we ate supper at camp when we got there.
Just thought I would save some people the trouble.

Is it blue and white, located quite close to a motel?

If so, we went there once...sign said "open" but not a soul in sight. Maybe that was a sign? LOL...

Isn't exactly new then, it's been there for about 4 years.

Thanks Tippi...I was thinking of stopping there the other day, glad I didn't. It looked interesting.

P.S. Tippi isn't talking about the stand in the motel parking lot. It is a new place just before there, starts with a "P."

Yep starts with a P!
I'm still shocked at the food they served. When the said they didn't have hamburger buns I looked at my husband and said out loud too "isn't there a grocery store down the road?"

Yep. He might have had to run into the motel when you went there. Usually he has students working but he takes a shift or two so the kids can have a life.

You would think that in the interest of making a first impression, that they would be ready, and have all supplies there. If not, they would have been better to give you your burgers for free. And how do you screw up fries? That's pathetic.

Well found out after that the fries are baked not fried. So being baked and sitting under a hot lamp all day I can see why they weren't eatable. I seriously didn't even feed them to the dog.

You should have kept them to use as kindling for your bonfire at camp.

Well I guess I wont' bother with that place now. I thought the spaghetti & meatballs dinner would be good for a lunch for my working men. I guess I shouldn't bother.

Here I though that they were going to have grilled panninis(Sp) and stuff like that, too. Aww I'm disappointed, I was hoping for something different.

Too bad, but thanks for the heads up Tip.

Like I said I can't speak for their Italian food, only what I had. But IMO if you can't even get hamburger buns for your business then I'd hate to see what else you cut corners on or are not too concerned about.

So one person stating they had bad experience is enough to make everyones minds up for them? I will take the warning into consideration but usually I like to make up my own mind on things.

Every time I have driven by around the supper hour, they are closed. What kind of business is that?

You could have also used the fries as spikes if you are doing any heavy repair work. I'm always leary of eating at a place that is also a trailer.
