lol i used to fly from LA for free all the time, but from the soo? you get good flights, t.o to vegas sometimes, or chicago-vegas, detroit-vegas might be your best bet.
If you go via detroit and fly from pellston, count on staying over an extra night in detroit on the way back, that flight is always over sold, i have a whole wack of NW fly anywhere passes from staying over in detroit for an extra night, plus they start throwing cash at you too. if you blow it all in vegas you can come out on the plus side!

My flight is out of Flint. They no longer have a direct flight to Vegas so you will have a stop over.

That would be one hell of a long drive to Vegas. Any idea how long? It takes 4 hours to fly there I can't imagine driving it.

Apparently you've never seen me play blackjack. /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif
Tippi, it doesn't matter.
The cards are there in place even before you draw them. If you play on theory alone, you'll do fine.
Hit even when you know your going to bust, and stay even if you know your safe if you draw.
Study the theory and you'll come back wealthy lol

I'll have to hit the books and study then.

I'll just be coming back then. Good luck! I'll warm up the tables and slots for you. Go see Cirque de Solie Love if you get a chance, we saw it last year, expensive but well worth it, non stop high energy, its at the Mirage.

Flamingo, we got a comp for 4 free nites, so all we had to do was pay for the flight and spending money. Where you guys staying?

We are staying there too! When I was looking at places to stay I was looking for something in the middle of the strip and also the best swimming pool. Flamingo won hands down. They have 15 acres of pool and forests. I can't wait to go.
How did you get the room free?

Its a very good place to stay, you're right, its in the middle of the strip, Staff very friendly also. We have stayed there the last 4 or 5 times, we do most of our gambling there so when you get there get their "Total Rewards" card and use it for gambling there. Also we charged everything to our room (Meals/ shopping at their stores) and paid at the end of our stay. Needless to say it adds up for points, that is when they comped us 4 free nites. I should add they comped us this March/April, not right away....so we called and booked for Sept 10-14. They are great there, we are bring our oldest son (his first time there) and we asked about a room for him, they told us he could stay in our room for no extra charge....I've found Flamingo and Harrahs first class for service and everything else.

I have been flying to Vegas for the last 6 years and have used Spirit Airlines. Just go to there website and each year I have been getting my airfare for $79-$89US out of Detroit each way. Our hotel for 1 week in vegas cost us $123 and our Jeep Liberty cost us $11.50 per day so if you look at the right sites you can get really good deals. If anyone wants info PM me and will give you all out site we use

Mike, did you see some of the $7. & $8 flights that Spirit advertise. If you have holidays booked in that time period you can fly virtually free both ways.

You must not have read my post very well I said i was looking for the best pool on the strip. Or maybe you read it wrong.
Hard Rock is VERY far off the strip. Who wants to go to Vegas and not stay on the strip? Not me.
