MS Office 2010 beta is released. It's available for download at the Microsoft website. This beta software is good until October 2010 for anybody who is interested in giving this a trial run. I just put in on my netbook and there are a few cool new features.

Here's the download link for all interested.

I just got it 2 days ago. I mostly use outlook and love the new look. I really like the way Microsoft is releasing sowftware now. It makes so much more sense to let users give it a try and have a say in it's development. Now if only office didn't cost so much to buy.

Since Office is a piece of critical software for me I am going to wait until retail is available.

You should not use a beta version if you have anything critical that you can not afford to be destroyed.
So in your case you should stick with your current version.

I just noticed there's a KMS host license pack for office 2010 on technet.
So that means it will use KMs or MAK to activate, similar to Vista and Win7.
