Thanks guys. He has been hanging out in our yard the past few weeks, and yes, it's a pheasant. We put seed out for him too. He's so tame and mild. Just walks around hangin'. It's amazing every time I see it. Love having wildlife in the yard.

My son also saw one near the Pine Shores on the highway in Goulais. I didn't think these guys were a wild species native to this area. Anyone know?

Good photo btw! He's a beauty.

very nice! you might be able to thank farmer bob for that one, he raises them in the spring and they go off in the summer and fall.

We might do a couple in the spring

Either farmer Bob, or my husbands friend who actually lives a bit closer to us. He gets them and releases them as well.

I just hope some gun-happy hunters don't go and kill them all.

Thanks....he still comes around every few days. We put seed out for him and he just keeps coming back. It's so neat to see him still. It doesn't get old!
