I imagine they will come up with something to passthrough the video. Possibly some sort of tuner type interface run via usb in?

Did you see the CES coverage? Apparently Intel has a new device that allows you to stream HD everything from your laptop onto a tv, wireless and without the need for a router or a high end graphics card.

No i missed that part, I was distracted waiting for news of the Fermi release from nvidia so i can get 2nd 5870 for a reasonable price. But at this rate the cards will drop in price because the tech will be so old by time nvidia finally gets thier crap togetehr.

Looks like a hit, especially for presentations and streaming content to your tv. You can even use your tv for as a wireless monitor.
