Alright I just got one of my t4's in the mail... Now how do you know how much your getting from it??? Or even a close estimate... Anyone?

When you get them all then you can do an estimate on this website. Until then you can not figure out a refund or balance owing because all the info from all T4's is needed to get the info you are looking for.

Depends on gross income, deductions and any tax credits that you can claim.

If you have more than one source of income and do not have any of them take off extra tax, chances are that you will OWE money, not get money back. Taxes are deducted from each source according to a lower tax rate (for each job) but your combined income will place you in a higher tax bracket, thus a higher tax rate and you will need to pay the difference. Be prepared to pay.

This is incorrect. You get a non-refundable credit of 15% of what you paid.

Family of 4, collectively (Wife and I) Paid $22,000 just into income tax last year, and we still had to fork over $300.

There is not much else other than buying RRSPS. a few deductions.

I've tried 2 different accountants. We don't have tax credits. What kills us is my wife has been on mat leave twice, messing up 4 years of t4's.
