Hey everyone,

I have a very nice old and rare stereo receiver. It's a "Concept 16.5". It was moreless one of the top of the line in 1978(it's 67lbs). It's not broken and still runs good and sounds amazing, but after 32 years it could use a restoration. So who would you trust in the sault to go over this unit? (I have already sourced a place with capacitors of proper values, etc.)

Here's a link to it, with pics, info, specsheet/schematics http://www.hifi-museum.com/js/monsterreceiverv3/unit_pages/ConceptReceiver.html

Thanks in advance for any input!

I would take it to George at Soo Video TV.

If it isn't broken and still sounds amazing, i wouldn't touch it until it does break.

steve mckay was a full time tech at moores for many years before he started doing guitar amps. the guy is a perfectionist when it comes to electronics. he's my #1 go to guy for anything like that. quite reasonable when he charges as well.

Me too. A cleaning would not be out of order.
