Your speaking from a privileged position...
Not a fair thing to say.

I came to this country 11 years ago, and started from scratch again. How is that for being privileged?

so, this thread is not about Canada and it's first nations people?
The... the...the title that says "Canada and The First Nations People" is not really what the thread is about? And it is furthermore, not logical to assume that the thread entitled "Canada and The First Nations People" Is about.... well.... Canada.... and it's first nations people...
You have a very interesting form of "logic"
you know.... in that "not at all logical" kinda way.
P.S.
Imitation, is the most sincere form of flattery
Now you just need to recognize context, and how to use phrases in it....

You didn't get it.

You didn't get it.

Translation:
Wow, you really cut me up for trying to be witty by using something you said against you... but not using it correctly, maybe I should learn how to use things in context.... nah, I'll just pretend he isn't right to save my ego....

ohy, are we talking about immigration now?
No, I think the subject is about native Americans. Where you given promises by our government only to be broken? Where you sent to a residential school where you where beaten, raped, and risked being killed? Where you stolen from your parents?
No, you came to this country on your own free will, nobody forced you to.
You are in a privileged position on your stance of whether natives should pay taxes, of course you think they should. You do, you cannot critically and fairly look at the reasons why they do not.

You enjoy doing to others what you whine about being done to you.

access, availability and opportunity.....

Has any one of these been denied to you wisdom ?? Im not talking about referencing your grandparents the way you do to support most arguments.

What I dont get , with all the money and other things given in these treaties over the past 150 years or so why havent the natives flourished yet to break oppression? Either with the olive branch or the sword, you have been given enough to do either one?
