So, yeah, I have TOTALLY become an advocate for chiropractic care!

For about 3 years now I have had sharp pains in my neck and back. I recently found out I have 2nd degree degeneration in most of my spine and a broken tailbone. Problem is, most people have NO idea that they have degeneration in thier spine until it is too late (by 4th degree).

Anyways, so I started going to the chiropractor and I got a REALLY good one, she is awsome. I bring my kids with me too.

I have learned that chiropractic care is VERY important, especially for our children.

So, I just wanted to pass on some links on WHY Chiropractic is important for our children and of course for us /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif And yes, we've been going for 6 weeks now and I see a massive difference in my kids. My son's reflux has settled down, and my daughter isn't tripping as much anymore.

Will give ya something to think about anyways /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Don't forget, doctors are mainly trained in treatment and not prevention. So when you're given something like IBprofen, it temporarily gets rid of the headache...but what is the cause? It could be that your spinal cord is being stretched from degeneration.

My mom has had headaches since she was 5. She also goes to the chiropractor, she's been going for 8 weeks now and has totally reduced the amount of headaches she's had /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

You don't have much to lose besides the pain!

I agree Dogsrule!! I am all for chiropractors despite the controversy. I have had some ailments that my family doctor couldn't diagnose, or if there was a diagnosis, I was always prescribed something that I probably didn't need with little or no relief.
One trip to my chiropractor and he was able to fix me up or at least give me a proper diagonosis. I too would be a mess if I didn't go to one.

G.P. Doctors & vets remind me of the downtown assoc. in SSM. LOL. They HATE new age stuff and change and a lot of them will find all these different small insignificant points why it is bad. Even though there is so much info out there proving it is good.
