I have 2 monitors to dispose of, a 19" and a 15", I think they both still work but I don't need or want them.
I heard there was a place other than the dump to dispose of them.
Thanks

The electronics recycle depot is operated by CLA and is located on Wilson St., just off Bruce (across from the Beer Store). They take old TV's, Computers, monitors, cell phones and other electronic items.

As is the principle with the three R's (Reduce, Reuse & Recycle) the recycle part should be the last to be considered. So if anyone out there has a flat screen LCD monitor that has died, I can repair many of them and divert them from the recycle stream. Plus I can give you $5 for it. Just give me a call and I'll come pick it up. 251-1135 Unfortunately the old CRT monitor has no value for resale at this time so I'm not looking for any of those to repair and resell.

I also have refurbished LCD monitors for sale. Mostly 17" units, but some 19" & 20" units occasionally. Pricing is $50 for 17", $60 for 19", & $70 for 20". I'll even deliver to your door and haul away the old CRT unit.

Try putting a Freebie ad for them on SooToday and Soonews Classifieds (and Soonet). Someone will take them.
