Is there some recycling centers in the Soo for old electronics? I got a broken 27" TV that has been sitting in my living room for about 4-5 months now, instead of throwing it in the garbage id rather recycle it.... I often also have small misc computer parts that just end up in the garbage...

Suggestions?

future shop takes old tv's and a bunch of other electronics, there is a sign on the front door of what they accept. also there is the recycling place on wilson st (just off bruce) that is run by community living algoma that will also take old computers, some electronics and styrofoam free of charge.

the dump is the last place it belongs.

It's obvious with my every visit to the dump that there aren't any ecologically concerned citizen in this town.
