I just bought one of those butterball turkeys that are already stuffed. The directions say it goes directly from the freezer to the oven...NO THAWING required. Call me old fashioned, skeptical, but has anyone tried these? ANy TIPS if you have? I guess I should have ask these questions BEFORE i bought the bird.

I have a stuffing recipe that you can use on a thawed turkey. If interested pm me and I will send it to you. It makes a lot so the I bake the leftover stuffing in a loaf pan and it turns out just as good as the one in the turkey.

No no.. I mean the turkeys that are pre-stuffed and frozen.

And I do the same as you with the stuffing that doesn't fit in the turkey! lol I actually find it a bit better because I like mine a bit dry.

just make extra stuffing on the side to mix in with the stuffing that comes out of the turnkey cuz it's not too nice.....

did not like the look of the frozen turkey with stuffing included, decided to go traditional. made my owe stuffing and bought a reg size bird, turned out great.
