i am trying to fix my daughters laptop and am not familiar with windows 7 at all as i still use xp...she has some viruses i know this and will be able to deal with them once i figure out my bigger issue which is i noticed that she has 2 local disks drives and one is FULL and it happens to be the one that is mainly used...the other has 133GB free...I am curious how can i make one local disk????

you would have to copy all said data off the drive, wipe the drive, then repartition it.

Its actually your best bet to leave it like that (2 partitions). You can copy all the important stuff to the larger unused portion while leaving the windows section intact.
