we cut 2 pumpkins last night and we have some seeds.. anyone have some favourite receipes i can try with the pumpkin seeds??

This is what we have done. Boil the pumpkin seeds in salt water for 10 minutes then let them dry overnight. Then put them on a cookies sheet and lightly coat the pumpkin seeds in butter then you can sprinkle them with salt or do what we did and sprinkle with a sugar cinnamon combination. They turn out really good that way.

I saw a similar recipe last night in Woman's World magazine: Preheat oven to 325. Rinse seeds; let dry. Spread in single layer on greased baking sheet. Spray seeds with cooking spray, sprinkle with salt. Roast until lightly browned, about 25 min. Let cool. Stored in an airtight container, they'll last for weeks. For a garlicky twist: sprinkle seeds with garlic salt and a little onion powder instead of regular sale. For hot'n'spicy kick: sprinkle seeds with a bit of cayenne pepper along with the salt. For a vinegary bite: skip the cooking spray and drizzel white vinegar over the seeds with some salt.
