Was just wondering if anyone has tried running a ASUS P7P55D Pro motherboard in SLI as I know it runs only at x8/x8 in SLI.

Was just wondering if it would be worth it to slap two EVGA Nvidia GTS 450s and put them in SLI or would I be pissing away the money on that. I'm currently running a EVGA Nvidia GTX 260 I just RMA'd a couple weeks ago cause the chip died in it.

Ive ran sli and crossfire on that board and have had great results. If your going to drop 300 plus on a gpu, get a gtx 470 or one of the newer radeon 6870s or 6850s for a few bucks less than 300 and get slightlly lower performance than the current 5870s.

This card will totally mop the floor with 2 x gts 450s and considerably cheaper.
