When 18 Russian junior hockey players arrived in Shelburne Ont. to live out their dreams, they had little idea they would trigger a controversy about national sporting policy in Canada.

I wonder how many Canadians are in Russia learning the game?

Young Russians chase hockey dream in small-town Ontario.

I wonder how many people carry on an entire conversation with themselves... Old age getting to you Jacky boy?

Jack Butler
12-05-2010, 08:48 PM
How about the 65 views?
Oh and no one gets younger...keep that in mind!

Oscar_Leroy
12-05-2010, 08:50 PM
So you're communicating with views?

Jack Butler
12-05-2010, 08:51 PM
Views are attached to people, you idiot!

Jack Butler
12-05-2010, 08:52 PM
You got a comment about the thread or are you gonna make this about me again?

Oscar_Leroy
12-05-2010, 08:58 PM
You're such an angry guy.

Oscar_Leroy
12-05-2010, 09:00 PM
For the record, views are attached to IP addresses. You do know that people don't physically come into the forums, right?

Jack Butler
12-05-2010, 09:01 PM
If Russia is such a world power in hockey why are they here?
I thought America is the land of opportunity!

Oscar_Leroy
12-05-2010, 09:05 PM
to be fair, there are more American NHL/AHL teams meaning there is actually more opportunity to play professional hockey in the USA. Just saying.

Jack Butler
12-05-2010, 09:10 PM
Everybody picked the Russians to win in the Olympics, everybody!
Yet the Russian youth as many other countries including the USA, come here!
Sweden and Finland are saying if you leave the country (or basically come to Canada) to play junior, you are ineligable for nation programs!
The Game is owned by Canada!!

The article says Junior Hockey...try and keep up!

You made a reference to America being the land of opportunity and I responded. Try and keep up.

You are in the sports section in a thread about Russian kids playing hockey in Canada!
What thread were you responding to?

For the record, I was going for USA. I seem to remember them doing pretty well, no? Sure Canada won the game, but you can't deny USA deserved to be there. They were on the same level.

It was in this thread. Scroll up. Losing your memory in your ripe old age, Jack?

Jack Butler

You can't even stay on topic when you're off topic!
Nothing wrong here, yank!

Oscar_Leroy
12-06-2010, 07:26 PM
Nope. Right on topic as usual, Jack. You said America was the land of opportunity and I responded.

You're just afraid to admit you're losing your memory. As I said, I'm proud to be American, even if it means dealing with stupid, narrow minded remarks from ignorant people like you.

Jack Butler
12-06-2010, 07:30 PM
Ha, Ha, Ha..you don't know you don't know!

Oscar_Leroy
12-06-2010, 07:41 PM
Ha, Ha, Ha..you don't know you don't know!

You make less sense every time you post.

For the record, you are ignorant so you don't know. The fact that this post will go waaaaaayyy over your head will be pure evidence of that.

Jack Butler
12-06-2010, 08:15 PM
Love the signature!
Good luck with the pity party, ha, ha, ha!

Oscar_Leroy
12-06-2010, 08:21 PM
no pitty party at all, Jack. I'm just carrying a conversation about being American, while clarifiying your above comments. I think your ignorance needs to be shared.

Jack Butler
12-06-2010, 08:53 PM
Ha, ha, ha....you go girl!

Oscar_Leroy
12-06-2010, 09:04 PM
Ha, ha, ha....you go girl!

You make less sense every day. Losing your sanity in old age. Since you seem to have a stereotypical approach to Americans, I must ask you one thing: Does it make you mad that you are always outsmarted by an American? It must make you burn inside.

Jack Butler
12-06-2010, 09:19 PM
I would know cause it hasn't happened...he, he, he!

Oscar_Leroy
12-06-2010, 09:36 PM
I would know cause it hasn't happened...he, he, he!

You would know? Thanks for agreeing!

Jack Butler
12-06-2010, 10:14 PM
That it hasn't happened...sure!

Oscar_Leroy
12-06-2010, 10:43 PM
no. You said that you would know that I outsmarted you. Scroll up.

Jack Butler
12-06-2010, 10:57 PM
Right!

Oscar_Leroy
12-06-2010, 11:40 PM
Glad to see you still agree!

Jack Butler
12-07-2010, 08:45 AM
With what?
I don't think you got it!
So....just more chirping?
How American of you.

Oscar_Leroy
12-07-2010, 12:45 PM
So Americans just chirp now? Good to know. You're really digging a hole for yourself now, Jack. Again, notice how I have left nationality out of this argument. I guess it makes sense that you always refer to me being American, it's the only ammunition you have. I feel sorry for you, Jack.

Jack Butler
12-07-2010, 01:12 PM
No, it you that chirps!
Digging a hole...hardly!
By mentioning you left nationality out of the conversation, you included it!
Ah, ha, ha, ha!

Oscar_Leroy
12-07-2010, 01:53 PM
No, it you that chirps!
Digging a hole...hardly!
By mentioning you left nationality out of the conversation, you included it!
Ah, ha, ha, ha!

Umm... When did I use your nationality against you? You're not very smart, are you?

Jack Butler
12-07-2010, 06:08 PM
Ha, ha, ha...you're brutal!

Oscar_Leroy
12-07-2010, 06:09 PM
Yes I am. I am brutally honest. Get used to it.

Jack Butler
12-07-2010, 06:22 PM
Honest has got nothing to do with it!
You act like a tough guy and then create a thread for help when things heat up.
You pretend to be some thing you are not and it's obvious.
Dixie gives it to you and you use the same sh*t on him, ha, ha, ha...you're a joke!

Oscar_Leroy
12-07-2010, 06:29 PM
Not a thread to help. Just thought it would be cool to show the rest of the members how ignorant you are. By the way, I didn't give Dixie the same thing. I know I used some big words in my post that probably went over your head. I don't act like a tough guy at all, for the record. I act like a normal guy, just a normal guy that happens to be a lot smarter than you. The fact that you think I come across as a tough guy means I must intimidate you.

I pretendt to be something I'm not? So I'm pretending to be a proud American? Good to know. You don't miss anything, do you?

Do you ever get tired of looking so dumb?

Jack Butler
12-07-2010, 06:32 PM
That's not the case.
Just cause you say ha, ha, ha...right!
The American is always the dumb one!

Jack Butler
12-07-2010, 06:37 PM
So you don't want to talk about hockey?
We can continue on with how dumb Americans are?

Oscar_Leroy
12-07-2010, 06:40 PM
Good to know... Whatever makes you feel good about yourself, Jack. Care to explain to me, what exactly is a paragraph, Jack? Do you have any idea? if the American is always the dumb one, and the American is consistently outsmarting you, what does that make you?

Ouch!! I would hate to be you right now, Jack.

Jack Butler
12-07-2010, 06:40 PM
Whatever, yank!
And, I like the shrine you've started!!

Oscar_Leroy
12-07-2010, 06:41 PM
So you don't want to talk about hockey?
We can continue on with how dumb Americans are?

Is that a question or a suggestion? Who's dumb? You do know what a question mark is for, don't you? Man, you make this too easy.

Oscar_Leroy
12-07-2010, 06:42 PM
Whatever, yank!
And, I like the shrine you've started!!

Another original from Jack. Where do you get all of this material from?

Jack Butler
12-07-2010, 06:45 PM
Who's dumb?
In this case it's you!

Another original from Jack. Where do you get all of this material from?
I don't know...no where really.

Oscar_Leroy
12-07-2010, 06:49 PM
In this case it's you!

I don't know...no where really.

Another slugger of an insult from Jack. You do know that the second question didn't require an answer, right? You really do make this easy. C'mon Jack, give me a challenge for once. You are digging a hole for yourself. I'm not even really trying anymore.

I'm guessing next you will say "You go girl......!" or call me a corner gas clown. All original material from Jack, ladies and gentlemen.

Jack Butler
12-07-2010, 06:57 PM
ha, ha, ha...and I'm easy!
ahhhh...glad I haven't got to u yet!
u don't even know when u've been had, yank!
it's getting old at this point, i'm out!
whatever you think, i'll telling you a chirpy american never gets credability on a Canadian bbs.
good luck with that!

Oscar_Leroy
12-07-2010, 07:03 PM
Was that English you were typing? Funny that you insist I'm stupid because I am American. I don't blame you for leaving, Jack. I've been making you look stupid for over a year now. Also, you are not getting to me at all. I have no problem defending myself, especially against somebody like yourself. You make it so easy.

Go cry the night away, Jack. Have fun with that!
