Last year i went to a party and someone made popcorn that had chex cereal in it but also instead of salt and butter it was flavored with a peanut butter white chocolate. It wasn't alot not like coated like caramel popcorn but it just had a flavoring. Like it had been drizzled it was amazing, but I don't know who made it and I have looked for recipes online and haven't found any. I was hoping maybe someone here had it.

White Chocolate Popcorn

Things You'll Need:
wax paper
popcorn
white melting chocolate
2 T Peanut Butter
sandwich bag

The first thing you will need to do is pop the popcorn and spread it out on a large sheet of wax paper. Let it cool while you are doing step two. Spread it evenly and don't have kernels on top of one another.

In a microwave safe container put in four squares of white chocolate squares. Make sure that you chop up the squares into fourths so that it melts easier. Put in for one minute at a time and stir.

Stir into the melted chocolate the two tablespoons of peanut butter. It should be completely mixed in well with it before you go into the next step. You want it to be in every bite of the chocolate.

Put melted chocolate/peanut butter mix in the sandwich bag and close. Slide to the side and snip an end off with a pair of scissors. Don't cut off too much as you want it to drizzle not pour out. Go on to step four at this point.

Lightly drizzle chocolate and peanut butter mixture over the popcorn until you have covered all the kernels lightly. This doesn't have to be solidly covered, but every piece should have some chocolate peanut butter on it. Give it 30 minutes to an hour to dry and break apart. Store in a air-tight container.




White Chocolate Cereal Mix

5 cups Corn Chex® cereal
2 cups pretzel sticks, broken in half
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 bag (11.5 oz) milk chocolate chips (2 cups)
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup candy-coated milk chocolate candies


Variation:
Looking for an a different chocolate variation? Use semisweet chocolate chips or white vanilla baking chips instead of the milk chocolate chips.
1. Cover 2 cookie sheets with waxed paper. In very large bowl, mix cereal and pretzels.
2. In medium microwavable bowl, microwave butter, peanut butter and chocolate chips uncovered on High 45 seconds; stir. Microwave 15 to 45 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Immediately pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated. Spread evenly on cookie sheets. Refrigerate uncovered about 20 minutes or until set.
3. Break into bite-size pieces. Divide mixture evenly into 2 resealable 1-gallon food-storage plastic bags. Add 1/2 cup powdered sugar to each bag. Seal and shake each bag until well coated. Add 1/2 cup candies to each bag. Seal and gently shake each bag to mix. Store in sealed bags in refrigerator up to 4 weeks.
