On the recommendation of my wonderful husband, I left my dentist and went to his. One year later, a root canal gone wrong, pain for a year and insurance not willing to cover the specialist she wants to send me to in Sudbury for another 7 months cause she did what she needed to do and is done, I am looking for any highly recommended dentist at this point. Who do you have? Do you like them, Are they Competent. Even my husband after the last family teeth cleaning, where the hygenist mangeled him, my daughter and myself where we all bled for a week and couldn't chew is ready to look elsewhere. I called my old dentist but rightfully so, will not take me back~no hygenist there..he does the cleaning himself. Help...my daughter is due to have 2 teeth extracted from this dentist in a month to prepare for her braces and I don't want this dentist to touch her!

I really like Dr. Chong at Cambrian Dental. We haven't had any problems with him and he is really nice.

I have had Dr. Chudoba at the bay street dental building for 26 years. All my sisters, parents and other family goes to see him s well. He is awesome. Very gentle. Never had a issue with him nor has anyone i know. And he is taking new patients right now.

I too recommend De Peter Chudoba, been with him for 15 years and love his work, and his sense of humour.

Dr Hackett... he is an absolute artits with a drill... I would go after the insurance company... It is amazing what they get away with...Write the policy to make it always work in their favour.... If it is through you work go to your HR department and see if they can help...

I second Dr. Detert. And if that root canal needs pulling, Detert does fantastic implants.

I also left my dentist to see my husband's dentist....it was Dr. Young...I am now waiting for my surgery date with Dr. Wong to have all my teeth out and full dentures.....what does that say?

the problem is your dental hygiene and not your dentist?
I've been seeing him almost 25 years and never a problem.

Tom Detert by far. He is a good friend of mine, even before he was a dentist. He convinced me to goto him, and i'll never look back. Fantastic. His crew is top notch too!

No, the problem is not my hygiene...I have always brushed after every meal, flossed, and rinsed with a product recommended by my previous dentist. I have an issue that does happen to be hereditary, and he failed to listen to me or even look at my previous dentist's records....

Dr Sicoli at the Bay dental center. My kids had their fillings done there. My one kid is terrified of needles, but whatever they did, there was no fear of getting the work done. No one in my family had to have teeth pulled (yet, may be looking at extraction prior to braces soon done the road ) But for fillings, they were great. My kids had no side affects or pain after.

we just started going to family dentistry on bay. My children have a relatively new dentist...Dr Sutton and so far they love her. I have yet to actually get any dental work done by my new dentist dr Turgeon so the jury is still out lol.
