For me it's a wide variety of things.

I love newborns, children, maternity, portraits, landscape, macro, wildlife. There really isn't just one thing that I love shooting. It's hard to explain but sometimes I can look at something that I may look at every day and at that moment I'm kind of picturing in my head a frame around it, sort of like seeing it as a photo. It's a weird thing to do and hard to explain but when I allow myself to slip right into it I'm looking around at everything and trying to find angles to make it (whatever it is) look better and thinking of the lighting on it, etc.

I'm going to sign up to deviantART, put some up there and share. Icecapp your morning sky photo is gorgeous!

I really enjoy taking wide-angle landscape photos, usually during sunset to capture the late evening light and dramatic colours. It is a great way to get out and simply relax and enjoy the view. It's usually stress-free as well, unless you find yourself in a storm on the bluffs at Gros Cap, with the wind blowing and waves crashing in a little too close for comfort, lol.

I've also been out a view times with a friend of mine to try my hand at wildlife photography, and absolutely love it. It is a completely different style of shooting, and makes for a nice challenge. My problem is that I don't have a great wildlife lens with a lot of reach, and the lenses that I would like to have are crazy expensive. I'll keep putting my loose change away, and one day I'll have a 200-400mm f/4 or better.

I'm checking out the links to your deviantart sites, and enjoy the photos I see. Nice work. I've posted a few photos here in the past, but if you haven't seen them, they are all posted on my Flickr site at http://www.flickr.com/bjotoole

Big fan of botoole's work.

I like shooting news and sports. The basketball tournament at the Essar Centre 2 weeks ago was a great event.
