To be honest, I don't know if we need one where I live. I've never asked and have never seen a notice about it.
I'd ask the township office but last time I asked a permit question they never answered it and didn't call me either. Obviously I don't live in the Sault, lol.

But it's because you love them. I'd do it if I had to as well.

Just be glad they don't price the license by the size! lol

What exactly is a dog license anyways? I don't think either my dog or my aunt (who lives with me) dog have one. My aunt's dog came from the pound too.

NO KIDDING, if they charged a flat rate by the poundage i'd be screwed. lol

License=fee you pay every March for a piece of tin to hang on your dogs collar. lol
spayed/neutered and chipped is only $10 a year.
$20 if not chipped

intact $50 a year......

If you got them at the humane society I would think they'd include your dogs license in the adoption costs. But I wouldn't be surprised if they made you get that separately.

you have to update it every year anyway. its a way that the spca can get money to help them run their pound.
