I am having major problems with my computer as well.I have trouble accessing my avg or downloading anything that is supposed to fix this.It somehow has gotten a rogue program on here called, Scan this and the other one is called xp anti virus.Could you please tell me some free programs to help with this problem? thanks in advance.

go into safe mode with networking restart your computer and hit F8 ---then download malewarebytes and run a full sacn

thank you but the problem with that is whatever is all on there will not let me run some programs.It makes me go find the associated file before i can open it and stops me

try logging in with a non administrator account (sometimes it only stops certain users)

How do i restore programs the way they were, so they open without me having to search for their association?

Still having problems.i try to click on msn to open it and it says no file associated with it to open it, but i have no idea how to fix it..Any one know how?One other question,Is the site called.Bleeping computer.com a safe one and are the files it mentions safe?
