We'll see who can actually play and produce.
The numbers are deceiving in the end.
The league does need a lot of players that don't really produce and spend their career bouncing between the AHL and the NHL.
Congrats on being the fluff of the league...good job!

....38%, I'm good with that.
I think Sweden did amazing even though this year draft wasn't concidered deep.

You know what that means boys and girls...

It means you watch too much American Idol. A ticket to the finals doesn't mean you made a name for yourself.

With thinking like that, you may want to change that "R" to an "L" to support your leftwing vision, my friend.

It is no surprise, considering most of the franchises are in the USA. Most of the top picks are Canadian, .... 16 first rounders compared to only 4 Americans. The ones that really count are the first to go, after that, the American teams grab the token American boys to add homegrown flavour, .... similar to what the Greyhounds do drafting local players.

If it wasn't for Brian Burke and Ron Wilson, there might have been only 3 Yanks in the first round, ... maybe Biggs might have gone later. Now we know why the Leafs are the team they are, ..... btw, ... that trade with Boston really worked out for them, didn't it ....

.... You know what that means boys and girls...

It means there will be 64 boys playing with men, .... your envy is so understandable.

Who cares what country is producing the most players in the NHL.

It's nice to see that more and more players are coming from countries other than Canada and the US. The skill of the game gets better every year because more and more people from other countries are playing the game and advancing it there own ways. It's also nice to see hockey starting to pick up steam in the US. Out of the MASSIVE population they could have 1400 undeveloped Crosbys, Ovechkins, and Thomas' that are finally getting into the sport.

American Biggs to Toronto, .... now there's current hockey power making a smart choice. Of course, its Brian Burke and Ron Wilson, so what can you expect. Can you say, ".... out of the playoffs again!".
