my 20 some year old kitca is gone. she was living with my parents in goulais and liked to go out and sit in the garden. it was in the evening and the coyotes got her. poor baby. (no comments about indoor/outdoor please) anyway, she was a complicated cat, came as a rescue and had been abused. she hated people. we took her as a foster cat but there was no way someone would adopt her. after a few years she started coming around and being friendly and nice. for the last few years of her life she stayed on my dads lap every second she could. she got her name because we called her 'kitty-cat' and our daughter learning to talk pronounced it kitca and so it stayed.

thanks. she moved out to goulais a couple of years ago. as she got older she just couldnt handle the dogs being round. my dad really loved her - she was his like glue. she was about a year old and came to us the same time we brought our newborn daughter home. she used to take the baby's toys and drag them down to her 'lair' in the basement and sleep all cuddled up in the middle of these stuffies. she did have a good life and it was so nice to see her trust and turn into a nice cat.
