View Full Version : Perseids
tonight may be the best viewing between 1 & 4 am, look to the north-east sky. Also may see some northern lights as there has been a lot of solar flares the last few days
Last Friday night we spend some time sitting on the boat watching the northern lights. It was awesome, we haven't seen them in quite a few years...
I fell asleep, so I missed whatever there was

ugh! I was awake because I am still sick and was up most of the night. I wish I would have known. Might have made my night less crappy :( I love this kind of stuff!

LOL You should have. I am still sick with pneumonia today, I could use the company and I can use high fever as an excuse for seeing him without being commited :)
I may attempt again tonight, it's beautiful out...but it's so quiet :pyawn:

The almost full moon will make it very difficult to see the Northern Lights. You might catch a few meteors but again, hard to see with the full moon so you won't get as impressive a show.
