Oh, I hope someone can give me simple instructions on (a) if it is possible to do and (b) how to do it.

So, here's the thing. At a wedding on the weekend, I was taking pictures with my Sony digital camera. While snapping ones of the bride and groom's first dance, because of the music they used, I decided to switch to the movie mode. Now, this was the first time I used it....yeah, I know, should learn how to do this properly ahead of time. Anyway, the video is dark, of course.

Question #1-is there a way to "brighten" the video in camera?

Question #2-If not, if there an easy (and preferably free) computer program that I can download that will correct the exposure?

I've worked frequently with still photos but never with videos and the program(s) I routinely use , I don't see a video editting component.

Any help will be appreciated!!
