I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct place or not, but I'm creating a pretty in-depth Access Database and I have created a number of forms using Query's. I keep receiving the below error when I try and enter in a new record.

The Microsoft jet database engine cannot find a record in the table 'Fleet Information' with the key matching field(s) 'Modem Information ID'.

Any insight to this error and a possible fix would be very helpful!

Thanks,

Hans

One rule of thumb when creating table & column names is not to use spaces. You can do it but the extra work it creates isn't worth the trouble.
If it is really in-depth you might want to consider using the free SQL database Microsoft supplies, just Google "Microsoft SQL Server Express Edition". You would have to use a VB or C# front end but it would be much more robust.
Good luck.
