Totally fine really, I mean its a message board I don't get mad like some people do on here. I just wish we could get something you know, relevant in this city. Sick of going to concerts where its full of people in their mid 40's and 50's reliving their childhood, while complaining about ticket prices.

No really, we have been lucky enough to have Elton in town, because from "Tommy" on has been an icon, if you know your music it was even before that. The other great performer that I would love to see and hear in person would be Billy Joel. Another great who like Elton, did not just perform but also "sold" their songs to many other musicians, same as Barry Manilow did.

I don't really think that just because someone has had a "hit" for a long time that they are irrelevant. His previous concert was fabulous! There wasn't a song that people didn't know. His career spanned like, 2 decades. That's a LOT of hit songs. Personally, I'd rather hear all the old songs I love than hearing that old line "now we're gonna play one from our new album coming out"....I hate that LOL. He's a classic. Not washed up and certainly not irrelevant.

AND he was totally enthusiastic for the entire show. He definitely wasn't phoning it in.
