It was going on almost 3 years ago that I took in 'gramma' now kacey the JRT from a fellow member on here. I took her in hoping that my resources with fellow rescues would help me place her in a suitable home..
Now that nearly 16 year old(believe she was 12-13 in 2009) has adopted me and my pack and is a forever life-er with us.
Here's a few shots of her from our 3 hour hike today(You'd never know she was a senior)
Just wanted to post a quick update:)

Your story and photos made me smile. She looks like a sweetie! 16 years old? wow, she looks in great shape.

Yeah she's rocking the 16 year old swag...
Aside from being a little sore once in a blue moon..(nothing that a baby asprin won't fix)

She eat's senior Acana, with a supplment of glucosamine and chondroitin and seems to not be slowing down at all..It only scares me when I think of how she must've been at the age of 2..haha

She's a wonderful rep for her breed...everywhere I go I make sure to tell everyone about taking on a JRT and what a "long" commitment it can be..lol
