View Full Version : loading or viewing files from a cd

i have stored tons of photos on cd's. now i want to review them. but when i insert a cd into the drive the only thing that comes up says i have to import them into my computer. is there any way i can just view them without importing them all?

Once you have the cd in, just right click on the drive and select explore. Then when you see the picture files, just double click on them to view.

how do i know what the drive is and where it is to right click. thanks!!

If you click on My Computer, and then put the disc in, you willsee one of the icons change. That's your cd drive, usually D-drive.

An easy way to see your directory listings, devices, and folders in Windows is by holding down the "Windows" key - the one usually down at the bottom of the keyboard somewhere between the ctrl and alt keys, then while you hold down the "Windows" key, tap the "E" key. This will open up the "Windows Explorer"....
