Come on now, no need to be bitter!

America scored 22nd out of the 50 countries compared in the study. Look on the bright side, you have all that opportunity for improvement, whereas Canada has remained stagnant in first place, for three years running!

Predictable, even on Canada day, Mr Rickles would be proud.

Wow a rating of #1 based off of completely vague questioning.... How bout asking the important questions... Health care, education, structure etc....
Of course people trust Canadians, we're the kid at the back of the bus licking the window, everyone trusts that kid.

The fact you run to these totally subjective ranking speaks volume of the Canadian need to create alter-realities. living next to the greatest nation in history has taken a great toll, indeed.

I tell my students that, too.

Sadly, when they hear the word "Canada", their eyes roll, and yawns begin...

"why do we have to learn about Canada??"

"Ummm, because they are our neighbor"

"So, Mexico is, too, and they aren't as boring"

"We will learn about Mexico, too,but today we will talk about Can..."

"NOOOOOO!!"

"We have to, it is in our state-mandated curriculum"

sighs...eyes rolling

'tis an awesome burden I carry!!

I try to make Canada interesting, but it's kinda' like being handed the job of making Phyllis Diller a sex symbol :(

Teacher: DQ, why didn't you do your homework

DQ: Because there is no point

Teacher: Why do you say that?

DQ: because as a citizen of this country, I shall be handed everything I want without any effort.

Teacher: I don't think that's how the world works. Hard work gets you what you desire.

DQ: I do work hard. Any time I don't get what I am entitl... I mean get what I want, I will use my sexual orientation for sympathy

Teacher: how is that hard work?

DQ: I don't see you asking the straight kids these questions, why are you picking on me?

Teacher: oh I wasn't... don't get the wrong idea, I never.....

DQ: See

And this is coming from someone who walked into any place and said "Hi I want a job" and was handed a first class job on a silver platter.....

True. I did walk in and say that. 12 seconds after saying that I was escorted out by security.
