Thread titles that do not indicate what the thread is about

It'd be like writing a book and titling it 'Did You Know'
I would assume that said book was about random facts or something of that nature.

Poor spelling and grammar
Yes, I'm a grammar nazi.
I'm okay with typos.
I'm okay with damn autocorrects.
You can usually tell bad spelling vs. typos.

Threads that magically disappear when they don't go the way the OP wants.

Complaints about spelling and grammar. Not everyone has the same abilities. Unless the meaning of the post isn't clear don't worry about it.

I guess that's the right of the original poster, but I see what you mean.
Sometimes, though, moderators delete threads.

As for grammar, I shouldn't worry about it, but I do.
It bugs me.
I know not everybody has the same ability, but that doesn't mean it doesn't annoy me.

With autocorrect, there is no excuse for spelling to be as bad as it is from some people.
Kind of like pregnancy. With all the contraceptives available, there is no excuse for the amount of unplanned pregnancies.

By that same reasoning, too, a doctor should make no more than a janitor. A janitor should make no less than a hockey player.
Different abilities!

People who get mad that a topic has gone off topic.

I get annoyed when a thread turns into a big joke, but I don't mind when a topic, like a conversation, changes course.

People who, when stuck for an answer, proper reply, or are uncomfortable with the obvious answer fall back on old worn out catch phrases. People ending with the lame "Nuff said" as though they have the wherewithal to end the debate with their statement.

People who post a new thread with nothing but a link in it.

That's not a 'thread', people! That's a link!

Until you weave two thoughts together, you don't have a thread. Or a clue, for that matter!

Who is this directed at?
Or were you just making a clever pun with weave following the needle train of thought?

Different abilities!Depends how you look at it I guess. Not picking on someone for their appearance, weight, education, intelligence etc. seems different than rewarding all equally.

Who said anything about appearances?

Let's talk hunting, then. Doe a deer a female deer!

"I feel uptight on a Saturday night
Nine O'Clock, the radio's the only light
I hear my song and it pulls me through
Comes on strong, tells me what I got to do
I've got to
Get up!
Everybody's gonna' move their feet
Get down!
Everybody's gonna' leave their seat
You gotta' lose your mind in Detroit, Rock City!"

Who said anything about appearances?Who said anything about Doctors?

The point I was making was that some things people can't control. Picking on someone for being short or for not having certain abilities is different than rewarding someone who puts a lot of time and effort into becoming a Doctor.

It's a song in the movie, "The Sound of Music". Surely you have seen it! If not, it's a must!

You are right. A doctor has to work hard at being a doctor.
An athlete also has to work hard at being an athlete.
That being said, they both were born with the brains or the talent.
Why should those who are born without brains or talents of that sort be punished?

I'm not saying doctors don't deserve to make good money. They do.
They work long hard hours.
But so does the guy who works eight hour days or more and then gets called out to clean up the mess after all the sewers back up.

I have seen somewhere between 10 and 20 movies in my life. My family loves them but i cannot suffer gratuitous sex and violence. If I watch something it needs teach me something or have a believable story line. I find much of what is offered us today an insult. Television is similar but I am more tolerant when watching as I expect less of it.
