"Neal Smith," Biden said, "an old butt buddy. Are you here, Neal? Neal, I miss you man. I miss you."http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/biden-gives-shout-out-old-butt-buddy-iowa_849717.html

Leaders of the free world, my ass... I mean butt. What?

What does "leaders of the free world" have to do with Biden's mouth once again providing endless hours of entertainment?

Joe Biden is the vice president of the United States of America. He says he misses his butt buddy.

You do the math and think about credibility on the world stage.

Anyone who takes Joe Biden seriously is someone incapable of evaluating who is a leader on the world stage

A slip of the tongue weighs heavy on the world stage? One would think you are the one person on the planet who has never gotten his tongue wrapped around his eye teeth and not been able to see what he was saying.

John Adams (or was it his son ,JQ Adams?) said the office of the Vice Presidency is not worth a bucket of warm spit.

Ouch.

But Biden is known for his many slips o' the tongue.

A favorite of mine is this one, where he asks a guy in a wheelchair to stand up:

I rarely follow any politics, Canadian included. Unless something catches my attention or someone bring my attention to something I avoid the lying b^$$tard$. They run counter productive to most of my medications. Not to put too fine a point on it but until this thread, I was not aware Biden was Vice, true story.

Slip of the tongue?

Yes, Biden may have had a slip of the tongue but, "I miss my butt buddy" was heard by other world leaders.

One would hope the "world leaders" educated to a point they able to identify and excuse a slip of the tongue.

Being rich, in politics and in the public eye does not always equate with integrity and morals, but it does supply one with enough backing to cover their transgressions. What does flirting with a younger woman have to do with a slip of the tongue?

In the overall scheme of things it continues to show that Biden will go down for his numerous peccadilloes more than anything else.
