View Full Version : Bay Street lane removal to cost $3.1 million

It seems the city will have to borrow 2 million dollars from the province(which has no real money either) in order to complete this project. I say it is NOT a priority....wait until you have the money. I also feel 3.1 million could go a long way towards fixing streets in bad need of repair in other sections of this city..ie. the western end of Black Road.

Lane removal means some paint and some sign changes doesn't it?

What's happing to make a busy street like Bay narrower? Is it getting a bike lane also?

3.1 million cold fix a lot of roads that really need fixing. Methinks council should take another look at this.

I am amazed at how few people we have seen this summer along the boardwalk. Seems like a quarter of last year. I think the city even dropped the security guys.
