New information that maybe sucks, but is good as well and i can't wait until it arrives. October 23, 2007 is the supposed release date.
F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate (new Expansion)
"With Perseus Mandate being the second expansion, it does not follow after Extraction Point (for reasons we don’t need to spoil), however Perseus Mandate sees a story that happens in the same time frame. A second team of F.E.A.R. operatives has been dispatched to the Auburn district to find out what happened to the original F.E.A.R. squad that was sent there. You’ll take the role of a new F.E.A.R. op, and in the mission we got our hands-on we were charged with the duty of rendezvousing with another soldier, Chen, which is the first time we’ve experienced this sort-of cooperative AI gameplay. And for Chen, it’s not looking too pretty. A new threat called the Nightcrawlers are also messing around this Armacham facility, so you’ll have plenty of nasty things to deal with."
"Nightmares won’t be the only thing flipping you out, as it seems Alma is also going to have her way with you in Perseus Mandate. Expect to see plenty of trippy stuff happening like chairs moving, bodies getting dragged, and more. If you’ve played F.E.A.R. expect more of what you’re already scared of. Especially what we experienced, Chen wasn’t digging the experience either. Even though there are cooperative moments, you’ll get split up in very disturbing ways. We’re hoping that Timegate really plays up the cooperative elements, because that could really add to the overall experience."
"Timegate promises new multiplayer modes, and multiplayer levels, but for now (and still since E3) nothing has been revealed. But so far, F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate is giving players more of what they loved – which isn’t always a bad thing. If there are a bunch of new enemies, a wealth of multiplayer modes and maps (which is promised), this expansion could make both 360 and PC owners crap their pants in both terror and happiness."
