OK - I want to take a sort of poll here. What's the best gym in town? Best defined as best nicest staff, nicest members, best equipment, best atmosphere, cleanest and best facilities and of course, most reasonable cost. I wish I could do a form here and let people rate each from 1-10 or something, but you get the idea. What's the best?

Out of them all I found the George Leech Center to be the nicest but that's just my opinion.

i used to like achieve, it is clean and bright and nice atmosphere, but i really got NOT impressed with some of the staff (some are great), but some just turned me right off. so, we went to transformations. i was really impressed with the staff and their attitudes there. daughter joined and really likes it. it was clean and bright, but very small. im saving my money and walking the steelback.

I work out at Transformations....I LOVE it. The atmosphere is great, the staff are fabulous. It's clean. They even supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryers, etc., for you to use. Yes it's kinda small, but the atmosphere makes up for it. I can't imagine going anywhere else again.

p.s. I've never had a workout like it before in my life. I leave the gym knowing and feeling like I got a great workout! It's hard to believe in 30 minutes.
I've also started to follow their nutrition program etc., and In 4 weeks I've lost 13 lbs.

Yes it is just for Women.... Transformations for Women is the full name.

I was in there this afternoon for my workout and they have a sale going on. Something like 40% off memberships or something like that. That's awsome. I know my membership was cheaper than other places so that is unreal.

Hmmm... I'm a guy. Doubt they'd let me join Transformations and personally not too interested in learning pole dancing, though I'd probably enjoy watching the lessons...... /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Any other recommendations? I find the Y and Goodlife just too big and the hotels are too small. I liked Northern Lights (Gore St.) when it was open, but unfortunately it didn't last too long. Something like that would be great though. Picky huh?

Just left my workout at Transformations...they are starting a Belly Dancing Class...

The 1st one is this weekend. I can't wait. Supposed to be a completely fantastic Ab workout. And fun too!
