The Alky Project (http://alkyproject.blogspot.com/2007/04/finally-making-use-of-this-blog-i.html)
So with this all you would need is XP and any graphics card powerful enough to crunch the numbers. Wild stuff. It was only a matter of time before someone would develop it. Anyone out there willing to try it?

Apparently it's more like an emulator, not native to the OS........ yet.
It always will be an emulator. Microsoft will sue them for IP infringement as soon as they feel any kind of negative effect from this project.

This maybe a good thing if they can know the DX10 code and make it work on XP SP2.
I don't think Microsoft will allow you to put a third party emulator in that disables their directX...

True they may just block it in an update download, but hey just like cracked games and applications sooner or later someone will have something for DX10, as for me i will go with Vista and a DX10 card instead of a hacked DX10 or emulator as you will suffer PC performance and degradation of the game as it is not 100% true DX10.
