Does anyone know where there is a gravel pit close to the soo to sight in a few rifles?

The clubs in town requires you to be a member or a friend of one...would appreciate any information to the whereabouts of such an area that would be safe.

I take my firearms up Old Goulais Bay Road. There's a small gravel pit maybe 5 kms up or so (maybe not even that far) on the left side of the main road.. or you can go in between the power lines, and should be able to find a spot there. It's all open, and you should be able to sight them in good there.

The Algoma Rod and Gun club has a Sight In Day, where non-club members have the privilege to sight in there riffles for a small fee(I believe it's $5 a gun).

Check Perry's Gun shop for the flyer or ask Jane if she knows when the date is.

I will look into that,,,thanks, I found a small area on Old Goulais Bay Road to sight in my .22, but noting 100yards to sight in my .307...

I am going out to Garden with a few buddies to sight in the .307 there...a little distance but I am bringing a rod with me to make it a little better trip.

Thanks again, I wanted to check out the Rod and Gun Club.
