I'm thinking if the U.S. government were to invest that money at home, the economy might not be tanking as bad as it is.

A report issued by the Treasury Department said that some combination of benefit cuts and tax increases will need to be considered to permanently fix the funding shortfall. But White House officials stressed that President Bush remains opposed to raising taxes.
Funny though that he is straying from the fact of billions spent a month on a useless war.
I wonder if Bush atleast has math skills and can figure out that the amount of oil a day he pumps out, isn't covering his spending.

Speedy in the case of employment would differ from country to country, especially when you have MILLIONS more people.
Sure we have a 1 percentage higher unemployment rate, but compared to the people that we have, you have a higher density of unemployed.

Yeah, his information is 3 years dated. You cannot compare 65.4% of 1.02 Trillion to 64.7% of 11.75 Trillion.
Canada also has been actively paying down its debt. While the United States is racking theirs up.
