So I am trying to find 1 or 2 huge dog beds for like $20-$30 (not used). Having a heck of a time finding decent ones...

Anyways, I came across this and thought it was hilarious!

I have a really sensitive dog so I don't like to take the chance. I can't properly sterilize fabric the way I like it and don't want her getting worse.

have you checked Costco's web site? They have some nice beds there for less.

Are you close to a US border? You can always order from PetEdge. They have awesome prices /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

They have those "pillow case" type ones that are pretty cheap. Just put like 4 regular pillows in them. Take the pillows out to wash it and you can change the pillows if it gets too flat. Would those ones work? They come in Dane sizes lol I was looking at them, but Stella would eat it /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

hey dogsrule thanks for posting that I went and checked out the site. I've been trying since last winter to find my dog a winter coat (you know what bullies are like..she's a little "robust" to put it nicely)and they've got a snowsuit! How cute! I'm ordering one for her right now.

I understand your problem finding one at a reasonable cost, seems once it's for a dog, the price goes up.

This is what we did because my old girl was having accidents and needed a comfortable sleeping place. We bought cheap comforters, double or queen size when Wal Mart had them on sale. We just folded them so I guess you could slip-stitch them if you needed to. But at least we could throw it in the washer and get it clean. And they only cost me $20/each.
It provided support for her and fit her size. Now that she's gone, Harry (130 lbs) uses them with no complaints.

Maybe it's worth a shot?

We actually do have comforters in the crates. I would totally use more comforters if I could find the pillow case Kuiet is talking about
