This service is capped and a 30GB download, but 60GB for the forst 2 years on a contract.

This sucks as if you download 10 movies or games your over the limit by far and will be billed for each GB over.

It states the service is available for my location.

bahaahhahahhaha and do you know how many people paying for the 7mb are actually getting the 7mb profile? Next to none.

lmao......okay so lets make the comparison here....

Bell 7 MB profile:

- Up to 7 MB download speed
- 60 GB of transfer per month (30 GB after 2 yr term expires)
- Includes home networking modem
- Includes security suite
- 39.95/3 months, 44.95/months 4-12, then 49.95 afterwards on a 2 yr term.

Shaw 10 MB service:

- up to 10 MB download speed
- 100 GB of data transfer per month
- Includes standard modem.
- Includes security suite
- 39.95/6 months with first month being free, than 42.00 afterwards when bundled with another Shaw service (50.95 otherwise)

*Ding Ding Ding* Even though Shaw does not have a home networking modem, they have a comparable package to bell and at a better price for more (When comparing the download speeds and bandwidth allowance) and Shaw does not require a contract. Round one goes to Shaw

Well the best part is, most people can't even get near the 7meg dsl profile!

And those who can, are initially put on it, then lowered to the 5 or 6meg. I know of at least 3 people who have fought with bell to be put back on 7mb like they were sold.

Well were I live right now, we were upgraded to the 7 MB service and sent a new 2wire modem. Much like what AT&T sells for their DSL but its Bell branded. I spent close to 2 hours on the phone with Bell to get it working and still havent gotten it working. Oh well.....another day of crappy Bell service
