....and I always thought that new flat panel TVs were more energy efficient than the traditional CRT TV....I am not sure if it's the same for PC LCD monitors...but I know that LCD and Plasma displays have more electronics in them (TV tuners, video scalers etc)....I believe some of the higher end models even have unix running some of the functions......
