Meridia - anyone tried this weightloss drug?

Has anyone tried Meridia? If so, did you have many side effects? Did you lose weight on it?

I know this doesn't exactly answer your question but I'm taking Hoodia Gordonii. That, with a proper diet and exercise regimen, I have lost over 30 lbs since August. You have to look around to find true Gordonii grown in South Africa. A lot of the pills on the market are synthetic which isn't as effective. Just look for an original import certificate in the box (although, I'm sure these could also be "faked"). I researched the Dex-L10 and am satisfied it's real Gordonii. http://www.hoodiadexl10.com/

Meridia is approved in Canada. My doctor is prepared to prescribe it.

My wife took it for six months and she dropped 50lbs. This is not to say that she dropped it because of the pill... she changed how she ate and exercised along with the pill. From what I understand it works as an appetite suppressant and it helped her manage her hunger at night. She had to go for a weight in every week along with a blood pressure check as it can raise your BP.

Someone I know is on it and her appetite has definitely been supressed, and it is also covered by our benefit plan.
