HELP...SP2

wow its been a while. I was able to put SP2 on my system long time ago..but i had trouble..it was always rebooting after i installed it...now a year later I have to redo everything:(and yes cant install SP2..I forgot what i did to get it running..after install it just keeps rebooting and well i give up ..help:) mi have pent/4 older bios..p333???I know there is a way..but cant remember...so any help would be awsome:)

go to control panel and open the system properties, go to the advanced tab and click settings for startup/recovery, uncheck automatically reboot.
Your system is having a problem and rebooting before you can read an error message I guess. You should be able to see what is happening in the error log though.

didnt help ..blue screen then reeboot..over and over again....

disable on board nic card, then restart.

have you done any installtions with any hardware, or downloadded something when this took place the first time.

NIC == Network Interface Card or Ethernet Card

If you have highspeed internet, it is the port which the modem is plugged into your computer.

If this port it nearer the top of the computer, by your keyboard and mouse plugins, then get walked through on how to disable it try it

Or even beter yet, disconnect the internet and try reboot.
